> Benjamin Cass
President Director

Benjamin's 15 years in the property and health sectors throughout South-East Asia has spanned the private and public sector including as an advisor to the Victorian government's Dept. Premier & Cabinet and as an Associate Director of one of Asia-Pacific's largest architectural and design practices. He is considered a pioneer of Indonesia's aged care sector and a co-founder of the Asosiasi Seniors Living Indonesia. Benjamin has led a team of developers and operators and has project managed numerous residential and mixed use projects with a strong focus on seniors living in Asia. His work has been featured in various multimedia platforms including ABC Television, Bisnis Indonesia newspaper, Bloomberg Television, the Jakarta Post newspaper, Investor Daily, the Jakarta Globe and Business Week magazine. Benjamin is Chair of the Retirement and Senior Living South East Asia annual conference and is a frequent speaker throughout the region on the topic of Seniors Living and Aged Care. Benjamin served on the Australia-Indonesia Business Council's Victorian Committee and studied a Bachelor of Public Policy & Management at University of Melbourne and a Diploma in Construction & Building (Management) and has a working proficiency of Bahasa Indonesian.


> Ruth Welling
Training and Operational Systems

Ruth is the Founding Director of Optimum-Eden Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) and Optimum Aged Care Systems (Australia). She has spent her entire working life in the Australian Health and Aged Care industry as a registered nurse with Bachelors qualifications in Nursing and a Masters in Health Administration. For 13 years she held the role of Executive Director/ CEO for Advent Care’s Villages and Aged Care facilities in Australia.Ruth’s Australian company provided training and operational systems to Malaysia’s first integrated seniors community, Eden on the Park. She is the author of the “Ruth Welling Care Documentation System”, a system widely adapted by many Australian Aged Care organisations.


> Steven Tirtawidjaja
President Commissioner

Steven is a Partner at Helios Capital who focuses primarily on divestment & acquisition and capital raising. His extensive experience covers a broad range of industries including oil and gas, mining, finance, automotive manufacturing, and retail. He was previously Vice President Operations/Business Development – Energy at Northstar Equity Partners and Project Coordinator in the Production Control Division at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia. Steven completed Bachelor of Science (Engineering) from Boston University and completed a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.


> Annisa Kartikasari
Corporate Development

Annisa has 12 years of experience delivering company registration, regulatory advice and certification services to the Indonesian property and infrastructure sector. Despite complicated regulation and competing bureaucracy, Annisa has ensured the registration of some of the largest manufacturing, property and exploration companies including Bluescope, Hyundai, Total, Baltec and Satto Kogyo. She is an active participant in various business associations including the Hong Kong Trade Commission, the Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Australia-Indonesia Business Council. Annisa graduated with a Masters in Accounting from Gunadarma University.


> Dr Zarfiel Tafal
Commissioner

Dr Zarfiel is one of Indonesia’s foremost health academics. He currently serves as head of Universitas Indonesia’s Health Education and Behavioral Sciences unit at the School for Public Health and is the Editor of Indonesia’s Health Journal after a 41 year career at Indonesia’s most prestigious academic institution. He has presented at symposiums across the world and has been directly engaged by leading organisations including the World Bank, United Nations, International Monetary Fund, AusAid, USAid and the Geneva Foundation for Medical Research.
